The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.
Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.
The CMAT-2022 will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Exam Pattern
The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for overseeing the CMAT exam, will release detailed information about the 2024 exam pattern during the registration period. It is essential for candidates to carefully review the CMAT exam pattern.
Note: The NTA has recently updated the CMAT exam pattern to include Innovation and Entrepreneurship as mandatory subjects.
According to the latest CMAT exam pattern, the test will cover Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness. The CMAT 2024 exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
CMAT is a national-level entrance exam accepted by all AICTE-approved universities and institutions.
The CMAT 2024 exam will include a new section on Innovation and Entrepreneurship, making it a total of five compulsory sections: Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Techniques, General Awareness, Language Comprehension, and the new Innovation and Entrepreneurship section.
Each section will have 20 questions, amounting to a total of 100 questions to be completed within 180 minutes. Candidates should practice with mock tests and focus on key areas such as faster calculations for Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation to excel.
