The IRDA exam pattern is determined by the conducting body and involves three stages:

Phase-I: Prelims Exam
Phase-II: Mains Exam

Phase-I: Prelims Exam

The Prelims exam is an online objective test, available in both Hindi and English, except for the English Language section. Candidates must qualify in each section as well as in the overall exam, meeting the minimum cut-off marks set by IRDA.

On the homepage, click on the ‘Employment’ tab and select the option “Recruitment for the post of Assistant Manager.”
Click on the ‘New Registration’ link, fill in your basic details, and register your application.
- A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system. Candidates should note these down for future reference. An email containing this information will also be sent to the registered email address.
Candidates can use the provisional registration number and password to reopen saved data and edit their basic information if needed. However, once the basic information is saved, it cannot be edited further.
Use the “SAVE AND NEXT” feature to modify and verify the details in the online application form.
Upload your scanned photograph and signature, ensuring they meet the specifications mentioned in the official notification.
Fill in all the required details and carefully review the information by clicking on ‘Preview’ before selecting “FINAL SUBMIT.”
- After previewing, click the ‘Final Submit’ button. No further changes can be made once this step is completed.

After paying the fee, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the provisional registration.
