Candidates are selected for the role of Apprentice Development Officer through the LIC ADO examination. LIC administers the exam, which includes three stages in the selection process: Written Test/Online Test, which is a computer-based test conducted in two phases. Phase-I is the Preliminary Examination.

Age Limit
Candidates should be aware of the age criteria set by the corporation for the LIC ADO exam. Only candidates who meet these age requirements can apply. The minimum age for applying is 21 years, and the maximum age is 30 years. There are also age relaxations for candidates from reserved categories.

Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the LIC ADO exam, candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or board. Preference is given to candidates with knowledge of Insurance Marketing or those who hold an MBA or a PG Diploma in Marketing from an institute recognized by the Indian Council of Technical Education (ICTE).
