• Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates applying for NEET PG 2024.
• Attempt Limit: NBE does not restrict the number of attempts for NEET PG, allowing candidates to appear as many times as necessary for admission.
• Minimum Qualification: Candidates must hold an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institute at the time of admissions.
• Internship: Completion of a compulsory rotatory internship of one year by August 15, 2024, is mandatory for eligibility. Candidates failing to complete their internship within this timeframe will have to apply in the subsequent year.

• Registration Certificate: Candidates must possess a valid Registration Certificate issued by the MCI or any State Medical Council (SMC). This certificate must be presented on the exam day for verification, without which candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

   

For Foreign Medical Graduates:

• Must be Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI).
• Must have cleared the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) and possess a valid FMGE Pass Certificate.
• Internship must be completed by August 15, 2024.

• Must be registered with MCI/SMC after obtaining the FMGE Pass Certificate.

   

For Foreign Nationals:

• Must have obtained a recognized basic medical qualification from their respective country.
• Must be registered with the appropriate medical authority in their country.
• No MCI Registration Certificate is required initially; a temporary registration will be issued upon selection through NEET PG 2024.

For Candidates Pursuing a Master’s Degree:

• Candidates pursuing a PG course are eligible for NEET PG 2024, but specific University/Institute regulations may apply regarding admission until the current PG course duration is completed.

Candidates are advised to verify the eligibility requirements of their chosen University/Institute before applying for NEET PG 2024 to avoid any discrepancies.
