SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2024

The SNAP exam requires candidates to have a graduation degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. SNAP is a common entrance test held annually for MBA/PGDM programs at SIU’s affiliated institutes. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can take the SNAP 2024 exam. The general eligibility requirement for SNAP is a graduation degree with at least 50% aggregate. Candidates with a degree from a foreign university must obtain an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). SNAP 2024 registration will be conducted online. The exam will be held on three different days in December 2024, and candidates have the option to take the test in any or all three sessions. The exam will be administered at designated centers across more than 90 cities in India. For SIU admissions, the best scores from up to two attempts will be considered. The admission process will also include a Group Exercise (GE), Writing Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) for candidates who clear the SNAP 2024 exam and meet the cutoff. SNAP Eligibility Criteria for Indian Candidates:

• General Category: Must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent.
• Reserved Category: Must hold a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate or equivalent.
• The degree can be from any mode of education, but must be from a UGC-recognized university or equivalent.
• Final-year bachelor’s degree students can also apply.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria for International Candidates:

Foreign Nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and Non-Resident Indians (NRI) are eligible to apply. For international students:

• Clearing an English Proficiency Test is mandatory.
• They can choose between IELTS or IELA, with required bands being 6 and 4, respectively.
• During SNAP registration, international applicants must provide proof of residence, a copy of their visa and passport, and, if on a student visa, a Bonafide Certificate and Letter of Provisional Admission from their university or institution.
